Counterpoint

by Daniel Libeskind
in conversation with Paul Goldberger

The Monacelli Press, 2008

Counterpoint, on the work of the architect Daniel Libeskind, is an unusual kind of architectural monograph: instead of an essay commenting on Libeskind’s architecture, the text consists of a long conversation between Paul Goldberger and the architect, in which the two discuss not only Libeskind’s building projects but also the connections between architecture and music, the tensions between theoretical designs and real buildings, stresses with clients, and the projects Libeskind would like to design but never has.
