Over the past 50 years, the preservation movement has evolved. Paul Goldberger will talk about successful preservation and how it should be more than just wistfully looking back, but also a way to enrich the experience of our own time.
This plenary talk is sponsored by Indiana University’s Cornelius O’Brien Lecture Series, University of Southern Indiana/New Harmony Foundation and The Alles Foundation. The talk is free and open to the public.
Two New Books and The Colbert Report

Two new books by Paul Goldberger have been published this fall: Why Architecture Matters, published by Yale University Press, and Building Up and Tearing Down: Reflections on the Age of Architecture, published by Monacelli Press.
