Christo and Jeanne-Claude

In the summer of 2010, Taschen will publish Christo and Jeanne-Claude, the most complete book on all the work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude ever published, designed by Christo with the text written by Paul Goldberger. The book's release is timed to commemorate Christo's 75th birthday on June 13, 2010. Taschen will issue the book first in a special, limited edition of 1,000 copies that will sell for $1,000, to be followed by a regular trade edition.

Two New Books and The Colbert Report

Two new books by Paul Goldberger were published in late 2009: Why Architecture Matters, published by Yale University Press, and Building Up and Tearing Down: Reflections on the Age of Architecture, published by Monacelli Press.
