Paul is embarking on a series of events in celebration of the publication of Building Art, his new biography of Frank Gehry. He will be appearing in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and many other cities in conversation with critics, journalists, and even with Mr. Gehry himself on a couple of occasions. The event details for the tour are listed on this page and on Paul’s author page on Knopf’s website.
In the summer of 2010, Taschen published Christo and Jeanne-Claude, the most complete book on all the work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude ever published, designed by Christo with the text written by Paul Goldberger. The book’s release was timed to commemorate Christo’s 75th birthday on June 13, 2010.
Two new books by Paul Goldberger were published in late 2009: Why Architecture Matters, published by Yale University Press, and Building Up and Tearing Down: Reflections on the Age of Architecture, published by Monacelli Press. [For information on both books, please click on the “Books” tab above.]
